By using DocFriends or paying for a plan, you agree to these Terms.

DocFriends provides written second opinions and specialist guidance from independent doctors for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for an in-person examination, your treating doctor's advice, a formal diagnosis, or emergency care. DocFriends does not provide emergency services. If you have a medical emergency, call 112 (or your local emergency number) or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Always consult a qualified doctor before making any decision about your health or treatment.

1. Acceptance. By using DocFriends or paying for a plan, you agree to these Terms.
2. Who can use it. You must be 18 or older (or use the service with a parent/guardian) and provide accurate information about yourself or the person the opinion is for.
3. What DocFriends is. A platform that connects you with independent, verified doctors who provide written second opinions on information you submit. We offer paid plans of 1, 2, or 3 written opinions (see Pricing). Opinions are advisory and informational, are based only on the information you provide, and do not create a doctor–patient treatment relationship or constitute a prescription, diagnosis, or treatment plan.
4. Medical disclaimer. The medical disclaimer above forms part of these Terms. DocFriends is not for emergencies.
5. Doctor independence. Opinions are the professional views of independent doctors. DocFriends facilitates and does not practise medicine or guarantee any outcome.
6. Fees & payment. Fees are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and are charged through our payment partner, Razorpay. You authorise us (via Razorpay) to charge the plan you select.
7. Your responsibilities. Provide complete, truthful information; do not misuse the service or submit another person's data without their consent.
8. Privacy. Your information is handled per our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual property. The site, content, and branding are owned by DocFriends, operated by Rekha Mani. The written opinion you receive is for your personal use.
10. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocFriends and its doctors are not liable for decisions made based on an opinion; the service is provided "as is." [Lawyer to set the enforceable limitation and any cap.]
11. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. [Confirm.]
12. Changes. We may update these Terms; continued use means acceptance.
